In this special class series, Katie guides students in a slow, nurturing, and supportive sequence of Restorative Yoga poses, and then after a delicious rest, she leads a complete Yoga Nidra practice.
Katie has been teaching Restorative Yoga for nearly 20 years, studying with Judith Lasater in 2003, Cora Wen in 2009, and Sudha Lundeen at Kripalu in 2011. She has been teaching Classical Yoga Nidra since 2015 and was trained by Dr. Marc Halpern of the California College of Ayurveda. Her most recent training in Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra with Maureen Miller takes these two very distinct and uniquely special classes and brings them together in a seamless partnership that allows them the space to coexist, elevating the practice of yogic relaxation to the most blissful experience for body, mind, and soul.
