We will make our yoga hOMe here in this magnificent natural setting, where exquisite beaches and surf, beautiful and well-appointed accommodations, and delicious organic cuisine all abound! We will practice yoga in fully-equipped studios with spectacular views and on the beach where we’ll definitely get our yogi toes in the sand! As you wish, you can indulge in delightful spa services and ample opportunities to enjoy a variety of off-site excursions and adventures, such as hike to a secluded beach with caves, a pre-Hispanic petroglyph trip, a Temazcal ceremony, a traditional Mexican market, and trips to nearby fishing villages and towns (Chacala, Sayulita and San Pancho). Do as much or as little as you like in your wonderful Mexican OM away from home!

ACCOMMODATIONS
Mar de Jade offers four types of accommodations: Ocean, Garden, Guest, and Cabana Dorm. Each room can be booked as Single, Double, or Triple Occupancy, and the Women’s Cabana Dorm holds up to 4 roommates in a beautiful lofted room (two beds are up a spiral staircase). If you choose to book a shared occupancy room, please organize your own roommate(s).

*Ocean View Rooms face the Riviera Nayarit and beautiful Chacala Beach and are located on the upper floors. Enjoy the sunset from your patio, and listen to the waves roll into shore one after the other. HEAVEN!
Ocean Facing Room Details
The Ocean View Rooms are bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a private balcony with an Ocean view. Comfortable and well appointed, each room has a sitting area with a futon that can be made into an additional bed. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with natural bath amenities. Most of the Ocean View rooms are on high floors and require steps to climb. We may add more ocean rooms by request–please ask!)

Garden Rooms are wonderfully spacious and are tucked in amongst the foliage. Terraced rooms open up to gardens, pathways, and are easily accessible for all guests.
Garden Room Details
Garden Rooms are either crafted in a Mexican style, with natural rock walls and hand painted mosaics; or with an airy Mediterranean feel with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light and fresh breeze. Each room has a spacious en-suite bathroom with natural bath amenities. Located on the ground floor, they are easily accessed with either a few steps or a ramp, and are appropriate for all guests.

Guest Rooms are decorated in bright and cheerful Mexican textiles and colors, providing a cozy and well appointed option for those seeking simplicity and comfort. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with natural bath amenities. Rooms are located on both ground level and third floors, either jungle or garden facing. We have only 3 guest rooms!

The Ladies Dorm is a lofted room with 4 twin beds and en suite bathroom to share. Priced for the economy traveler, the room is simple, but guests still have access to all the luxuries the retreat has to offer! Great for a group of friends!
Dorm Room Details
Meant for a group of 4 women, the Ladies Dorm is a spacious lofted room with 4 twin beds. Mar de Jade reserves the right to fill any empty beds in the loft if guests choose this option and don’t fill it with their own buddies. There is no male dorm, so if guests in this room decide to make it co-ed, this is an option for a mixed bunch of friends who want to share! We have ONLY one dorm room for 3-4 guests sharing. Preference is for a group to select this room together so you know you are compatible with your roommates. There is no AC in this room.

There is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $1,000 to save your room in this retreat.
Once you register and pay your deposit, you will be notified of the balance payment date (4 months prior to the retreat all balances due must be paid in full). Please read the “fine print” section below to learn about our cancellation policy for this retreat. We strongly suggest you purchase travel insurance to protect your total investment of retreat, flights, and any other expenses associated with this yoga retreat and adventures or excursions you choose to add to your experience.
The Ebb & Flow of our days…
Our days begin with sunrise coffee or tea and continue with twice daily yoga classes – 5 Element Invigorating Flow in the morning and cooling practices like Yin, Slow Flow, and blissful Restorative Yoga in the afternoon. Fill in the spaces between with beach time, excursions, a spa treatment, or a nap in the hammock. Sound like a dream?
FOOD & DINING
The food at Mar de Jade is fresh, organic, and served buffet style. Mar de Jade’s chefs prepare exquisite meals using local produce and seafood caught fresh daily. If you are vegan or have other special food interests, the kitchen staff will happily prepare your meals accordingly. The food is all organic, clean, healthy, delicious and beautifully presented. The dining pavilion is a romantic yet spacious patio set right next to the Bay of Chacala. Sharing meals and happy conversation is a highlight at Mar de Jade.
Special diets are provided those who request vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-related dietary needs. Please be sure to let us know when you register.
There is a coffee, tea, and light snack service starting at 6:30am. Breakfast is from 8:30-10am, Lunch from 1:30-3pm, and Dinner from 6:30-8pm

Excursions are owned and operated by local co-ops, and their availability and rates are subject to change without prior notice. Please be prepared to pay the tour operators directly in CASH. Most excursions range from $25-$60 per person.
TRANSPORT from PV Airport to Mar de Jade
Mar de Jade provides ground transport by van between the airport and hotel. Depending on the number of people arriving at a similar time, the cost of the ride varies from $30 (for 7-10 people in the van) to approx. $40/ea (for 4 people in the van). If you happen to be coming in at an unusual time when there is no one else to travel with, the cost will be at most $100 (for 1 person in the van). Rates change at the discretion of the retreat.
Don’t Forget the Fine Print!!!
There is no refund on your deposit. There are many expenses that go into hosting a retreat before the retreat actually takes place. We have to put down a deposit for you that is not refunded if you cancel.
Deposits are non refundable & non transferrable.
OUR REFUND POLICY:
- 120 days prior to the retreat, you will receive 50% refund MINUS DEPOSIT
- 90 days prior to the retreat, you will receive 25% refund MINUS DEPOSIT
- Inside 90 days there are no refunds
- TRANSFER POLICY: If the retreat is sold out and has a waiting list, there are no transfers available, as others are in line to attend the retreat. If you must cancel and the retreat is NOT sold out, we will help facilitate a Transfer of Registration. In this case, your deposit is NON TRANSFERABLE; all other finances are worked out between you and your replacement. In order for someone to take your place in the retreat, s/he will need to complete a Transfer of Registration form and pay a $100 transfer fee to join the retreat.

There are no refunds or pro-rating for arriving late or leaving the retreat earlier than our reserved dates. Perhaps you want to arrive in Puerto Vallarta a day early to enjoy the city (and to insure you arrive to the retreat on time); or adding a day or two in PV at the end of your retreat is a wonderful way to extend your trip and feel more spacious and less rushed leaving the retreat.
