“The Nest” Retreat at Dragonfly is a weekend curated to bring about your deepest rest, relaxation, softening, and surrender. The practice of Restorative Yoga and its wonderful friend Yoga Nidra bookend our days. Together we will create an energetic container where each one of us is held, seen, and supported. Then we will design our own “nests” in which to relax the body, calm the mind, untangle the heart, and nourish the nervous system. Sound like what you need?

Add to all of that deliciousness Chef Declan’s homemade soups, salads, and delectable dishes, each made with love and a reverence for the divine feminine (he has four sisters, after all AND is the middle child… so he gets us). Walks in the woods, soaking in the hot tub, curling up with the book you’ve been wanting to read, journaling, and simply offering yourself permission to do nothing if you like… THAT, my dear, is what we are up to!
Guests reside in our beautiful shared dorms, made up with organic cotton sheets, cozy blankets, and direct access to the sanctuary of the yoga barn. Friendships old and new are kindled here under the 250 year-old eaves of this magnificent abode, and the energy is palpable. As so many of our guests try to explain: “you have to be here to understand how special it is.” Sharing rest with other women is both comforting and grounding. Here we have access to the ancient and instinctual womb of nourishment that is womanhood itself–the hub of humanity. This sacred barn is also our physical “hub,” the focal point for activity & connection, holding all of us in her warm wooden arms. Sleeping here is a divine experience.
For chickies who prefer a more intimate nest for 2 ~ 3 friends, we offer the Loft, a large open bedroom under the rafters of the farmhouse, as well as “Sunnyside,” a private full bed that shares a bathroom with the Loft. For the most private nest, “Mountainside” has a queen and en suite bathroom with shower. These rooms become available after the first 10 registrants have claimed the Dragonfly Dorm nests.
