Restorative Yoga & Sound Healing

Through restorative yoga, breath work, and sound healing, students have the opportunity to deeply relax the nervous system and tap into the body’s inner wisdom and ability to heal. When we add the peaceful vibration of the bowls, the natural sounds of the wood flute, drums, and chant, the magic really begins!

It is an auspicious moment when the season shifts from one to another, and our class is designed so that savasana takes us right up to the moment of the Autumnal Equinox!

Katie leads the restorative yoga portion of this event, mindfully guiding students into supported poses that allow each participant to ground, relax, and restore the body, mind, and spirit. Carlos weaves in the ethereal sounds of the singing bowls to support deeper physical relaxation and emotional calm, which provides a portal to realms beyond the body and mind. About your guides:

Katie has been teaching yoga and meditation for nearly 25 years, sharing classes, teacher trainings, and retreats to thousands of students since opening Dragonfly Yoga Barn in 2008. It is a gift and special privilege to share restorative yoga, as it means holding space for students to enjoy sacred rest–something we desperately need in our fast-paced, screen-focused world.

Carlos is a Sound Healer, Holistic Chiropractor & Shamanic Practitioner. He has played his crystal singing bowls at countless events and classes throughout NH, including here at Dragonfly and at Katie’s retreats and teacher trainings. Carlos is just beginning his 200 hour YTT in Concord, NH. Carlos is an intuitive healer and is guided by his humongous heart, which means every opportunity to be with him and enveloped in his music is a blessing.

Both Katie and Carlos are Jaguar Path Shamanic Reiki Practitioners, each adding their unique, intuitive and spirit-guided elements and Reiki healing to make this experience unlike all others. Each class they create is a singular event, beautifully carried out, and sprung from the heart. Their friendship magnifies this beautiful offering.
