A Fall Retreat with Erin Compton and Skye Adams
of Riverbend Yoga, Portland, ME
Welcome autumn with mindfulness and the energy of a new moon. When the days are still warm, nights get dark early, and the leaves are just beginning to change color, join Erin and Skye from Riverbend Yoga at Dragonfly Yoga Barn for a weekend of yoga and mindfulness.
Nestled among 30 acres of wilderness and flanked by the White Mountain National Forest and conservation lands full of babbling brooks and rolling hills, Dragonfly offers a quiet getaway off the beaten path but still a short and scenic drive from Portland. Using solar power and radiant floor heating, Dragonfly is an energy-efficient series of beautifully-restored barns offering common areas and a light-filled and lovingly- designed practice space. From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon we’ll come together to deeply immerse ourselves in communal yoga and mindful living with several amazing options for unstructured time and shared activities, making the most of the surrounding countryside and slow pace of life at the turn of the seasons. Enjoy four vegetarian meals prepared by the retreat center owners from their own gardens and local CSAs, as well as several snacks throughout the weekend. Carve out some time for yourself to reconnect to your true nature with the support of a yoga community and the pristine beauty of our remote surroundings.
