Ayurvedic Self Care Workshop, Sunday, March 20th, 1:30-3:30 pm (may run a little past if needed).  $45 early registration. $5o after 3/19; $60 to drop in on the day.  Rate includes 4oz massage oil, 4 oz rosewater, tongue scraper, and materials to practice oil pulling, as well as helpful pdfs to support your practice at home!

Ayurvedic Self-Care Routines: Dinacharya
Is your skin feeling dry or itchy? Do you have a hard time falling asleep at night (or waking up in the morning)? Are your bowel movements irregular? Do you have bad breath or notice a pasty covering on your tongue in the morning? Are your eyes tired or dry, or are your nasal passages blocked or dried out? These are just a few of the issues that a Dinacharya routine can help address.

So what will we do in this workshop?
Dinacharya is the word we use in Ayurveda for a collection of self-care routines one practices daily/weekly to return to and maintain proper balance in the mind and body. Routines can include but are not limited to: tongue scraping, neti pot, abhyanga self massage with oil, nasya (nasal oiling), oil pulling (mouth), aromatherapy, rosewater eyewash, and creating your own daily tea with appropriate spices for your dosha. In this workshop we will learn about (and practice!) the importance of self-care routines and how to add them to our lives with ease. AND you will take home the tools you need to begin a dinacharya routine: your own massage oil, tongue scraper, and rosewater eyewash, plus recipes for a good morning lemon flush, all-day dosha balancing tea, and a spiced bedtime milk!
$45 Early-bird registration includes 4 oz Rosewater Eyewash, tongue scraper, and Abhyanga massage oil with essential oils, a $20+ product value! After 3/19, price increases to $50. Drop in the day of: $60 (cannot guarantee products w/o pre-registration).
Optional Abhyanga at Dragonfly: We will practice a mini oil massage for the arms/legs/feet, and you can shower at home, so BRING an old towel,  old sweats or yoga pants and short sleeve as well as long-sleeve top, and SOCKS you don’t mind getting oily.
WEAR: Comfy clothes for sitting and moving (and if you are doing oil massage, wear clothes that you don’t mind wearing after oiling/washing off oil). To register, visit the Events page of this website!

Your presenter for this workshop is Katie O’Connell, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, ERYT 500 and Ayurvedic Health Practitioner candidate at New World Ayurveda.
